BACKGROUND: Her background is canon up to a point. This applies for her light halfnewmoonrises as well.
Set after SuperS, the final time Chibi Usa returned through time to go home she find a very different world waiting for her. She retained her memories of everything that had happened: Crystal Tokyo, her time in the past, and everything that had happened to her.
The world itself had changed, Crystal Tokyo was no more. In it's place stood an Earth little changed from the past she'd not long left behind. Perhaps history had somehow rewritten itself as she'd traveled through the tunnel, it's unclear exactly what had happened. It was soon obvious that she was the only one who remembered Crystal Tokyo, Helios, or any of the events that had transpired while she was in the past. Not even Pluto herself had a record of these times. Baffled, Usagi Chiba grew up to live a normal life, or as normal as life can be when you're the daughter of Sailor Moon anyway.
Needless to say living a new life with the memory of an old one still fresh in your mind and heart was a little difficult. Thankfully, however, thanks to this strange alternate time-line she grew up at a normal pace, her body no different than that of anyone else on earth.
It was unsurprisingly her nineteenth birthday that set off the chain of events that changed Usagi Chiba into the Wicked Lady she is known as today. Ten years of waiting for Helios to keep his promise while family and friends looked on with concern and sometimes downright disbelief grow wearisome and eventually it took a toll on her. Vowing to find him herself, she set off to search for a way to Elysia only to discover that none seemed to exist.
Tired, hurt, and frustrated beyond belief, when she was upbraided for shirking on her duty as she "had a destiny to fulfill", she swore to change the way fate itself worked for not only herself, but Helios wherever he was assuredly still in Elysian somewhere doing what seemed to her to be a never ending destiny. It wasn't fair! Lashing out against family and friends her heart darkened on it's own, the crystal buried deep at her core darkening due to her anger and bitterness. This Wicked Lady was born, not of Wiseman's Evil magic, but of the own darkened power within herself. This is why if pressed in the Nexus about Black Lady she will almost always correct them about how she wasn't Black, like the dark moon she'd once served, but Wicked of her own violation.
Still, she swore to protect the earth in her own way, following not destiny but her own personal call from deep in her heart.
PERSONALITY:
Wicked Lady's personality is much like Black Lady in many ways. She's got a wicked sense of humor and is quick to laugh, her temper is quick to rise as well. Even if she is dark, there's still a good deal of love there for her friends as much as she tries to pretend it is otherwise. (She still buys presents for everyone, leaving them at their homes anonymously). Otherwise she's basically the same Usagi Chiba she ever was, being dark didn't change her as much as one might think.
Her sore point is still her love for Helios which is very real to her even still. She's got a lifetime of letters and little presents saved up even now that she's kept in hopes that one day they'd meet again. She knows it's foolish as considering how her life has gone it's very likely that he doesn't remember her or their promise to each other. She still clings to this notion and will lash out violently at people who press and taunt her about it.
